ROLE: YCC Coordinator Contract: 3 Year Fixed Term Contract

Hours: P/T 21 hours a week (full time 35 hours)

Salary: £27k, 16200 Pro Rata with 4% Pension after 6 months Probationary Period   

Holidays: 15 days Annual Leave, 7 Days Public Holidays (from Jan-Dec)

CEMVO Scotland is a leading national intermediary in the EM 3rd Sector, our aim is to build the capacity and sustainability of the EM 3rd Sector and its communities.  Our work is underpinned by race equality and we seek to level the playing field for ethnic minority individuals through empowerment initiatives and support.

We are looking for an employment coordinator to work on the Young Confident and Connected (YCC)  Programme funded by The National Lottery Community Fund (Young Start).  As the YCC Coordinator you will work with 15 ethnic minority young people a year providing a range of support on their journey towards, and into, employment.

You will work closely with young clients each year, profiling their skills and experiences, and using coproduction principles, enable them to set goals and achieve them, build their confidence through PX2 training or equivalent, upskill through training and placements and achieve employment.

You will have significant working knowledge of employability issues faced by EM young people and help them overcome barriers to employability.   You will also have a strong understanding of the labour market and employer requirements.

You will work closely with local partners, including employers, training providers and other stakeholders, developing professional relationships that will offer a diverse range of experiences and opportunities for those on the programme.  You will be able to collect and collate qualitative and quantitative data to provide an overall picture of EM young people and employment based on their lived experience and encapsulate that to develop future funding opportunities.

Post: Finance and Business Manager (FBM21)
Salary: £38,250 per annum plus 6% pension (permanent)
 
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced individual to lead the Poverty Alliance's small and busy Finance and Administration Team. The role will involve the strategic management of the organisation's financial resources, contributing to our income generation programme, overseeing the continued development and enhancement of our business information systems and processes. 
The right person for this job will not only have significant experience and knowledge of financial and budgetary management, business development, administration and staff supervision, but also a commitment to delivering real social change. We need a dynamic and passionate individual, with a commitment to equal opportunities and collaborative working. Possession of a relevant business, finance and accounting qualification would be an advantage.
