The Bridges Programmes supports the social, educational, and economic integration and inclusion of refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, and anyone for whom English is a second language living in Glasgow. Their programmes enable their clients to reach their full potential and contribute to Scotland's economy. They provide a supportive and inclusive environment for learning new skills and building strong social networks for socialising with their peers. The Bridges Programmes helps its clients to gain the confidence and qualifications they need to participate in all aspects of community life and become active and engaged citizens. They also provide essential information and advice on housing, healthcare, education, and other issues that are relevant to their client's lives in Scotland.

We are now looking for a new Chief Executive who has the vision and ability to drive the organisation forward into its next chapter.  You will raise the profile of the charity and ensure the sustainability of the existing programmes while developing others.  You will also be capable of responding quickly to the constant global changes and government priorities for refugees and asylum seekers. As CEO, this role will give you great satisfaction in seeing the journey of people who have come to this country with nothing and giving them a future in employment, education or training.
